Heat stroke in the middle of the heat

Posted by ethaninosente on March 15, 2010 in Undecided |

Obviously summer has arrived and everyone is still cool about it, especially the students. Most of the summer getaways I know are thrice as much as they are during the rainy seasons. I remember talking to my bff last night because she mentioned that she was purchasing tickets to Boracay but couldn’t cause its all fully booked, sob, sob! She’s going to be stuck at work for the whole summer.

Well anyways, I’m checking in the temp right now and its currently 33 degrees C here.  There are no blowing winds to cool us down. Luckily there are sweet fruits and juices available inside the fridge. You can also try drinking some colas or sodas to load you extra sugars when you go out.

I’m writing this blog right now because I want to warn everybody about Heat Strokes and Heat Wave. They are likely to happen during summer days. Everyone is a candidate, there are no exceptions and excuses for this condition.

People experiences having difficulty in breathing, loosing the ability to sweat (making the body over heat) and sometimes faint immediately, so please if you are planning to go out for a walk, better have a nice source of hydration with you okay? Have a nice day :)

P.S: it’s also advisable to try going to malls, beaches for a swim and tourist spot like Baguio and Tagaytay
