Giving up
My battle
is already over and I’m lowering down my sword, my bow and my shield. I’ll be flying back to the Philippines to start once more. It has been a very tiring yet a fulfilling journey, I can really say its a roller coaster ride. I never thought that I can survive this long and for that I want to thank my sole sister for the guidance and support, especially financially and my mom for the efforts looking for jobs online.
You know, everyday here in Singapore is a battle, its either you make it or you break it! For me, we push a lot of effort, call all the numbers in the newspaper, do some emails and walk ins everyday to different companies but still no luck, I am still rejected. This country has a very strict manpower system, I cannot penetrate it alone within days, and especially that my career path is not related to my course.
I choose to stop because it is time already. My money was not that enough to let me continue, though financial supports are still available I still choose to stop. My hunting experiences here are worth it and I can proudly say; “atleast nakapagtry na akong lumabas ng bansa ” Come to think of it; I’m still more fortunate compared to other job hunters and I’m really am thankful for that.
Never the less all stories must come to good endings. True my battle here has just ended yet my war is still ongoing, I wont stop finding a job in Singapore but its not going to happen now or tomorrow. I will be retreating for a while so by the next time I’ll fly again, I’ll be prepared.

I love how you put it
“True my battle here has just ended yet my war is still ongoing”
Cheers to a good life ahead of you
