Chevy Chase checks into rehab. AGAIN!!!
The troubled 72-year-old "Community" actor has checked into Hazelden Addiction Treatment Center in Minnesota for alcohol-related problems, his rep told TMZ Monday.
Chase is set to appear in two different movies: "Dog Years," which is being filmed and "The Christmas Apprentice," which he has already completed.
"(Chase) wants to be the best that he can be," the rep told the gossip website, referring to his rehab stint as a "tune-up."
Chase has sought treatment for substance abuse before.
In 1986, he checked into the Betty Ford drug rehabilitation center in California for painkiller addiction.
His publicist at the time said the "Saturday Night Live" comedian had developed a "dependency on prescription drugs relating to chronic and long-term back problems."
In 2010, Chase told Esquire that when it came to drugs, he had always been "pretty low-level."
"I never shot things up or freebased," he said. "I checked myself into the Betty Ford Clinic after my nose started to hurt."
