Shots Fired Near Gucci, Rick Ross, 2 Chainz And Meek Mill Video Set

There was a near-close call as gunshots rang out fairly close to Meek Mill, Rick Ross, 2 Chainz and Gucci Mane as they were shooting the video to their upcoming release “Buy Back the Block.”

The rappers were shooting a performance scene on an Atlanta rooftop when the gunfire erupted. The shooting was so close by that according to TMZ, all four artists immediately ducked for safety.

Thankfully, sources report that the gunfire didn’t occur happen on set, but rather a nearby apartment complex. No injuries were reported and no arrests were made.

After everything settled down, the talent and crew went back to business as usual and the video shoot was completed.

Good! We’re glad to hear everyone is okay!!

It’s that time of year again when the nominees for the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame are revealed.

Some of the inductee’s for the 2016 class included, N.W.A., Steve Miller, Deep Purple, Cheap Trick and Chicago.

According to XXL, this is the first year Tupac Shakur has been nominated to be a part of the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. It’s been 25 years since his first release, which makes him eligible to be nominated for the 2017 class.

Fans have the option to vote for five artists out of the 19 nominees, and the inductee ceremony will of course take place next year.

Y’all remember Camilla Poindexter from the Bad Girls Club? She recently had a daughter back in March but it looks that may have been with a married man because the wife spilled all the tea on social media!

According to TMZ, NFL Star Donald Penn was secretly messing around Camilla and got her pregnant.

“My husband cheated on me with this hood rat,” Dominique posted.

“She knew he was married from jump!! He knew that he was married! They did this to my family! You don’t get brownie points for f***ing a married man for a check thinking he was gonna leave his wife!”

Now Donald already has 3 kids with his wife and his wife certain that Donald is the father of Camilla’s baby.

“He has 4 kids now (paternity test pending) to worry about,” Dominique wrote.

What’s interesting is that through all of his she’s still sticking by her man saying,

“my husband married a strong woman, and even at his weakest points today, I encouraged him to go play [on Sunday]!”

“I uplifted him and I told him as his friend were gonna get through this!!! As a result to all you hoes out there, never think for one second a man will never come crawling back to his wife. In most cases like mine, THE WIFE ALWAYS WINS.”

Drake has another victory under his belt thanks to his fans who listen to his music via Spotify!

According to the streaming site, Drake has the “most streamed track on Spotify!” “One Dance” has been streamed more than 880 million times on the music app. Drake snatches the crown from “Lean On,” a Diplo and DJ Snake joint which was reigning with 526 million streams.

“One Dance” is definitely one of Drake’s biggest hits as it was also his first song to hit Billboard’s Hot 100 chart.

How ironic is it that “One Dance” broke a record on Spotify when Apple, who debuted Views, the album that featured “One Dance.”

Angela Simmons has been an open book about her pregnancy after she announced the news back in May. She gave birth to baby Sutton in September, so if you did the math, she was pregnant way earlier than the date she announced it on. While many thought she kept it a secret for so long because of her desire to uphold her virgin image, her followers have since seemed to have forgiven her.

Now the Growing Up In Hop Hop star is taking her fans on a behind the scenes tour of her life after motherhood with People Magazine.

“He is a hungry boy,” she says. “He’s up every few hours wanting to eat. It doesn’t leave a lot of time to close my eyes. But it’s all worth it.”

She goes on to say that she has always wanted to be a mom even if the diaper changes don’t always go as planned,“I’m loving every minute of it.”
As far as her fiancé, he has been able to stay out of the limelight throughout the media tirade but has been a helpful hand every step of the way.
“He’s been so helpful, doing middle-of-the-night diaper changes and everything,” she said.

Another name has been added to the Black Lives Matter hashtag and this time she was a 66-year-old woman from the Bronx. According to the NY Daily News, Deborah Danner was shot and killed by Police Sergeant Hugh Berry after he failed to properly “isolate and contain” the victim who was suffering from mental illness.

Reports state that officers responded to a neighbor’s 911 call where she claimed that Danner, who suffers from schizophrenia, was behaving in an “irrational manner.” When police got to her Castle Hill home, they found Danner naked and armed with a pair of scissors. Hugh had allegedly gotten the victim to put down the scissors but she had picked up a baseball bat soon after and allegedly tried to swing at him.

This apparently caused the 8 year veteran to fear for his life because he pumped two bullets– one to the shoulder and the other into her chest– into Danner. She was rushed to Jacobi Medical Center but could not be saved.

“The shooting of Deborah Danner is tragic and it is unacceptable,” Mayor de Blasio stated after hearing the news. “This should never have happened. It’s as simple as that. Deborah Danner should be alive right now. Period.”

Danner’s death, just like most police involved shootings, have people angry and searching for answers, one being why didn’t he simply use his taser? Hugh was apparently trained on the proper way to de-escalate situations dealing with people suffering from mental illness but its clear Hugh failed to abide by the rules.

“It’s quite clear that our officers are supposed to use deadly force only when faced with a dire situation,” said de Blasio. “And it’s very hard for any of us to see that that standard was met here.”

The victim’s cousin, Wallace Cooke, who also happens to be a retired police officer, said he had made many calls similar to this one and not once did he have to fire his weapon.

“The other more simple thing they could’ve done is just close the goddamn door,” Cooke said. “It’s as simple as that. Where was she going? Close the door. She didn’t have no gun.”

As of right now Hugh has been apparently stripped of his badge and his gun but something tells us to not hold our breaths for any further actions.
