Starting a career again

It’s a viral infection which mainly affects the main organ of the body for breathing (nose, throat bronchi). Infection means there is something foreign inside the body and the body eliminates it by increasing the body temperature, some may experience aching muscles and severe headache sometimes associated with vomiting.  The signs and symptoms will last for about a week and will eventually subside since most viruses self destructs.  In other cases, if the immune system is compromise or defective, a person may progress to a more severe illness like pneumonia that may lead to death.

Viruses are easily transmitted via vector (non living things like handkerchief and door knobs) or via droplet meaning a single sneeze may infect two or more persons in a single blow. You can stop the infection through proper hand washing while singing (2) happy birthday songs and covering your mouth every time you’ll be sneezing. It pays a lot if you’re taking ascorbic acid as a precaution because you can never tell when viruses are about the strike.

I was taking my usual route to Guadalupe when I saw this man, having 3 familiar colors and arrangement to our Philippine flag. It has the blue on top, red at the bottom, then a white triangular figure. I know it’s a fashion statement that Manny Paquiao started and everything but does that guy know that it’s against the constitution to use the Philippine flag as a design for clothing? It’s not patriotic at all, it’s like saying “in your face, I can do anything with the flag!”.  I don’t know what’s behind Nike/Adidas Philippine inspired jacket but I find it so offending that they ruined the flag by using it as a design for their jackets way back few years ago. Well, it’s a good thing that this time it’s mostly the Philippine flag are stitched in shirts rather than having the flag as a shirt.I’ m not really against the said brands and to those people I came across, but if they really are patriotic, they should learn how to respect the flag.

I thought that I’ll be happy when the rainy season comes but it was the opposite, every now and then I force myself to wake up probably 2:30 in the morning to wait for the water to come out. It’s really that hard because I have a job in the morning and my travel time. Imagine 8hours from work + 5.5 hours travel time (back and forth) then cramming for another 5 hours for blogging, oh it’s too much. Take note I’m also a mid husband in a lying in clinic every saturday. Ayayay! I just hope the water companies finishes all the repairs in their water pipes cause this is really a hassle for everyone.

I know that it has been a very, very long  vacation I had after I quitted my job, and I like it, and I’m starting to miss it eventhough I haven’t started to work yet. The things that I’ll be missing probably is a morning  walk with my dog, watching movies, waiting for facebook shoutout for long hours, sleeping a lot and then staring at the ceiling for an hour, isn’t it neat? Two days from now I’ll be starting to my work again in the office, and I’m really excited about it. I’m done polishing my shoes, my clutch bag is prepared, and my clothes done for the whole week. All I need now is for the days to pass by.

P.s. Can’t wait to ride again a jeep, a train and a motor going to work :P

If given a chance to live a life in the province, surely I’ll grab it with no hesitations; as long as there are pampering spas located near my place I’m all good, that is all that matters hehe. Once I’m gone from this concrete jungle, a back massage would be the first one that I’ll miss. It’s nice after a long week of planting crops in the field, and probably a facial is good once a month to clear out those nasty comedones.

I like the idea of living in the farm however that won’t be happening anytime soon. I still enjoy a lot of things here; probably another 2 decades more and then that will be the time that I’ll be decided.

I can’t sleep right now! I miss you and I miss everything that we do. I miss the fishes; I miss the farm, especially the cooking lessons. Do you still remember that I always burn those egg pies in the morning?  You always remind me whose birthday it is and who’s available for the hour, and I’m missing that one right now. Eventhough we don’t spend that much everyday since I left for Singapore, it’s not enough for you to turn your back completely. We can still start all over again. I know that you still have others guys on your mind but you can still squeeze me in your schedule right? I’m getting depress every hour , every minute, every second that I spend here in Palawan. I thought that I could live without you but I was wrong. Will you forgive me? Can we start all over again? Promise I won’t bully you anymore. Hope that you come back soon.

Ethan missing facebook in the middle of the night in his rest house located in the mountains of Palawan hehe

I had a great time using my partner’s k850i today. I took lots of pictures of plants and fruits near me, and oh yes before I forgot, the fruits which I took pictures of, well they ended up in my tummy afterwards except for the watermelon of course, it’s still too young to be eaten away, probably I’ll be saving it for Christmas, I guess that time it will be big enough to fill my tummy up! Lols!

I visited once again the manor and the progress was impressive, a couple of weeks more it will be finished and ready to move in, oh I just hope that I can be there once the place is open. Tomorrow morning I’ll be personally visiting my mother’s rest house. My sister told me that it doesn’t have any lock, so I can take a tour inside whenever I want to, and since it’s going to be my last day tomorrow, it’s the best time to visit the house before I leave.

Last night since I was so sleepy, I forgot to mention that me and my grandmother shared the same bed. I’m not really use to the cold places, that’s why I joined her in the bed. She took the other end of the bed because she uses the bathroom in the middle of the night. I had a blanket already covering my whole body and my face before I sleep and then probably an hour after I woke up gasping for air hehe, I didn’t know that I’ll suffocate in one of those blankets.Probably another hour, my grandmother was checking if I was on the bed, she said that she’s amazed on how I sleep. I call it “trained for the coffin” because I wasn’t moving the whole time I was sleeping. It was 6am when I heard them moving, but as usual, I just ignored them and continue with my sleep again. My sister said “nay labas kanalang kung gusto mo mag kape at MAG AGAHAN” I think my sister let me hear that on purpose. As always the magical word moves my body once more.

Ohhhh! I so love the pandesal! the pianono! the mooncake! oh my! this is surely a taste of heaven awww!,after driving my grandmom to the airport, we went on a joyride, looking for a bank and a bathroom depot, they looked around and bought more house materials and then headed back to the farm. There was nothing much that I can share about the trip, it’s just a 2 hour drive. Most of the things that I’ve saw was the Penal farm, some herds of Kalabaws, farmers and lots of trees of course. I took some powernaps along that 2 hours and then got excited when we were at Estralla village already.  At the base of the mountain, you can already see my sister’s manor and once you get to see it upclose and personal, you’ll be impress about the style. It’s made of cement and some river boulders. It’s like those country house that you see in the movies hehe I was impress. My sister describes it as “massive” but it’s fine it suits the size and it’s beautiful “moy” (dutch for beautiful). I hope Mom will arrive soon so she can personally see the Manor itself. Ohhh! I can’t wait to tell this to my mom. As of now she’s still busy with work I guess cause she’s not replying to my offline messages.

I got a little too excited earlier that I woke up 5 in the morning to prepare, even though my flight will be 4 in the afternoon. The reason I was that early was I haven’t packed my clothes and printed my ticket that’s why I thought I need a good head start. Probably 7am my slumber partner was also awake that time, she’s also excited but not with my flight but with her new phone. We just bought a new communicator phone which is so bulkier then her iPhone. We then had breakfast before I went out for my neat haircut because knowing my sister, she doesn’t like my hair growing like wild weeds.

I went to this small salon in the other street to have a quick haircut, and then went home to start packing. I was already brisk walking towards my house that time because I was not sure about the time and also I haven’t plan yet the stuffs that I will be bringing.
A few sets of clothes and a mosquito repellant, underwear and a thick pair of sleepers, then a jacket and toothbrush and tooth paste was the things that came first to my mind. Since the computer was on that time I took the opportunity to browse facebook again hehe, which was not a good idea because it ate my time looking for valuable stuffs in my room. When I remembered that I don’t have much time left, I pulled my butt out from the chair again then walk towards the kitchen to ate my post breakfast meal! Yum! Yum Tahong! and some fried chicken! It was so good that my tummy became round like a watermelon. Now how am I suppose to walk back to the other subdivision? Hehe resting was good time to contemplate and browse again, so I decided again to finish and post my pending jobs.

After posting the last pending job I decided to head back to the other house to fetch my laptop and itouch, I’m already sweaty this time and a little bit sleepy. When I got there, my partner was still busy trying out some apps for the wireless configuration; she wasn’t able to notice that I passed her by already. A nice power bath was a relaxing experience and it did rush all my blood to keep me awake. After my refreshing bath my partner already prepared my lunch before I went to the airport. I wasn’t suppose to eat but when she mentioned that it’s “sinigang na hipon” it’s a different part of the story. You got to eat if shrimp is on the table hehe

After eating a nice long goodbye kiss with lots of pocket money my partner gave me. She’s sweet I know. Down at the Taft station, another type of alligator known as “barkers and taxi drivers” was telling me that the fare going to Terminal 3 was 200 pesos without meter ofcourse. WTF! I told them, “kakapunta ko lang ng Singapore nung January at 70 lang binayad ko sa Vios na taxi…. At kelan pa nagtaas ang pamasaje Aber? Gusto nyung ipahuli ko kayo sa LTO? And from that moment the driver just drove off hehe! He got pissed I guess hehe.
I was able to ride a nice taxi but an old lady requested if she can also share the taxi with me, she’ll be late if she can’t get a taxi soon. Inside the cad, she introduce herself as Mrs. Naval, the president of the taxi operators. (which I googled and she was telling the truth)She’s really in a hurry and feels awkward asking if she can join me but I didn’t mind that time. We then rode the same taxi, me sitting at the back while she at the driver’s seats. She took the opportunity to pay my fare but I didn’t accepted her offer.

Atlast I was in the airport and I wasn’t late that’s for sure. I took pleasure in eating siopao, and soda’s inside while waiting inside, too bad I’m craving for a yum burger that time. At this point I’m praying for a safe journey going to Palawan cause I’m seeing flashes of lightning as I eat my siopao which is so tasty together with it’s sauce. Inside the plane I took pleasure of sleeping because there was no noisy crying child during the trip. I also did take some pictures but this shots are as common as you can see in other views. When I arrived, we slept at the Casa Linda near the airport which was run by a Matt Mendoza, a local artist in the Philippines. A few blocks away was KINABUCHS were we had dinner. We went to bed early cause my grandmother’s flight would be 10am. What a day!

p.s. I’ll be posting the photos probably this Monday cause of the slow internet connection here
